Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Dive Tribe Phi Phi, we are committed to offering a transparent and fair cancellation and refund policy for all our guests.

Booking & Payment

  • For all bookings (day trips and multi-day packages), full payment is required at least 1 day prior to the first dive.

Guest Cancellations

  • Cancellations made 2 or more days before the scheduled start date: ✅ Full refund (minus bank fees if paid by card)
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the trip: ❌ No refund
  • No-shows for any reason (illness, hangover, ferry delays, not waking up): ❌ No refund
  • DSD: only one dive completed: ❌ No refund

PADI Course Rescheduling

You may change your course start date if you inform us at least 24 hours in advance, and if alternate dates are available. Please contact us via WhatsApp: +66 82 456 4497.

Return & Refund Eligibility

  • Returns (refunds) are only accepted for unused or unactivated services within 2 days of booking.
  • No refunds are possible once any part of the activity or course has started.
  • Refunds are issued minus a 5% processing fee to cover payment platform charges (e.g., Stripe, credit card).

eLearning Cancellation Policy

Once a PADI eLearning account has been issued and activated, the associated portion of the course is non-refundable under any circumstances, even if the guest cancels the rest of the booking. This is because the eLearning licence is assigned and paid at the time of registration.

Cancellations by Dive Tribe Phi Phi

All activities are weather-permitting. In case of cancellation due to unsafe weather, mechanical issues, or staff illness, we offer:

  • ✅ Full refund
  • ✅ Reschedule at no extra charge

For PADI courses, if new dates are not suitable, we will refund the portion of the course that was not completed.

Medical Exceptions

If you are unable to dive due to a medical reason and provide a valid certificate from a hospital or doctor, we will reschedule your dive date (subject to availability).

Please note: Rain or cloudy weather is not a valid reason for cancellation. We follow official recommendations from the Harbour Master and Marine National Park authorities for all weather-related decisions.
