Try Scuba Diving – Half-Day Experience in Koh Phi Phi
At Dive Tribe Phi Phi, we’re excited to introduce our signature experience – the PADI Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) course. Whether you’re a non-swimmer or trying scuba for the first time, this half-day program is your perfect gateway to the vibrant underwater world of Koh Phi Phi.

No swimming experience? No problem. Our experienced instructors provide full support and guidance to ensure your safety and comfort at every step.
Half-Day Adventure – Two Dives Included
This program includes two dives in the stunning Andaman Sea. You can choose from the following time slots:
- Morning trip: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Afternoon trip: 12:30 PM – 5:30 PM
1-Hour Surface Interval
Between dives, take a one-hour break onboard. Enjoy snorkeling, relaxing under the sun, and a freshly prepared fruit and meal.
Small Groups, Personal Guidance
We keep a low student-to-instructor ratio (2:1) to provide personalized attention and a more enjoyable, safe experience.
What’s Included
Your DSD package includes all necessary diving equipment, food, drinks, and accident insurance.
Please note that the 600 THB national park fee per person is not included in the trip price and must be paid in cash at the ranger’s booth on the pier on the day of your trip. This fee helps support marine conservation efforts in Koh Phi Phi.
Prerequisites for Participation
- Minimum age: 10 years
- Basic comfort in water is recommended (strong swimming skills not required)
- Good general health and fitness
- All participants must complete the PADI Medical Questionnaire (PDF). If you answer “Yes” to any question, a doctor’s medical clearance is required before diving.
- No prior diving experience is needed
Important Reminders
- Before your trip, please visit our shop for paperwork, equipment fitting, and a short orientation:
- For morning trips: please visit by the day before
- For afternoon trips: please visit by 10:30 AM on the same day
- Flying after diving:
- After a morning trip, you must wait at least 18 hours before flying, starting from 11:00 AM
- After an afternoon trip, you must wait at least 18 hours before flying, starting from 4:00 PM

Due to Thai National Marine Park regulations, guests participating in Discover Scuba Diving are not allowed to use their own underwater cameras unless they are certified divers with an Advanced Open Water license or 40+ logged dives. But don’t worry — we’ve got you covered.
Our professional underwater photographers will join your trip using high-end gear to capture the best moments of your dive. You’ll receive 50+ high-resolution underwater photos and short video clips, transferred directly to your phone after the trip.
